Carols in the Cathedral (St Paul’s Cathedral, Melbourne)RMP present its ever popular “Carols in the Cathedral” – Melbourne’s premier concerts of traditional Christmas music, carols and readings readings in the stunning setting of St Paul’s Cathedral. A magnificent feast of spectacular fanfares and carols, and stunning Christmas music and verse, performed by massed choirs, magnificent soloists and glorious brass and percussion.

This year music will include the world premiere performance of “An Australian Christmas” by Daniel Brinsmead, and works by Australian composers including Helen Gifford, Sandra Milliken, and William G. James, as well as music by Kristian Hernes, Ralph Vaughan Williams, Gustav Holst, Dan Forrest,  John Purifoy, Sally De Ford, David Willcocks, Adolfe Adam, and Matthew Armstrong.
