RMP presents EVOCATION – a concert of sublime choral works from around the world to uplift, awaken, soothe and inspire.
Including works by celebrated composers including Ēriks Ešenvalds, Hye-Young Cho, Eric Whitacre, Elaine Hagenberg, Ola Gjeilo, Frank Ticheli, Dan Forrest, Joseph Rheinberger, Michael John Trotta and Iain Grandage.
The acclaimed Royal Melbourne Philharmonic Choir and Aurora Australis Quartet will be conducted by RMP Artistic Director and Chief Conductor Andrew Wailes.
They will be joined by outstanding Australian pianist Stefan Cassomenos.
Tickets include complimentary tea and coffee after the concert, and a chance to meet and chat with the musicians.
Four performances will be presented in the beautiful acoustics of the Assembly Hall in Melbourne, as well as Ballarat’s historic Central Uniting Church and the iconic Castlemaine Town Hall.
