The RMP and MUCS presented Brahms’ mighty “Ein deutsches Requiem” (A German Requiem), and Morten Laurisen’s sublime “Lux Aeterna” (Light Eternal), For this concert the choirs and orchestra were be joined by sensational soloists Teddy Tahu-Rhodes (bass baritone) and Greta Bradman (soprano). These glorious and internationally acclaimed voices joined over 200 members of the Royal Melbourne Philharmonic Choir, the Melbourne University Choral Society and 70 members of the Royal Melbourne Philharmonic Orchestra (with the mighty Grand Organ), all under the baton of Chief Conductor Andrew Wailes.
